"Traffic Jamboree!" was initially dreamed up for a song commission about Los Angeles traffic, but slowly morphed into an Anxiety Cat song about climate change. It was created by cutting up and editing sounds of rush hour traffic and looping them. The backup voices are from Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! ("The sky is blood red") and our US Government propaganda film voice from the first song ("You're killing your own people"). The opening radio excerpts are from Democracy Now! and NPR.
